Remember when the internet was full of weird, colorful, unique websites? When everyone had their own little homepage with a guestbook, a visitor counter, and maybe a page dedicated to their cat?

Somewhere along the way, we all moved to platforms. Twitter, Instagram, TikTok. Places where our content lives on someone else's server, following someone else's rules, shaped by someone else's algorithm.

Don't get me wrong — those platforms have their place. But there's something we lost when we stopped making our own websites. We lost that sense of ownership. That feeling that this little corner of the internet is truly yours.

That's why I made this site. It's not trying to be a startup or a brand. It's just me. A place where I can write whatever I want, design it however I like, and not worry about engagement metrics.

If you're reading this and don't have a personal website — I encourage you to make one. It doesn't have to be fancy. A simple HTML page with some text about yourself is enough. The tools are free (Neocities, Nekoweb, GitHub Pages). The satisfaction is real.

Let's make the web weird again.
